Veg Frankie Recipe

Veg Frankie: Veg Frankie is very easy to make and tasty to eat. It doesn’t take much time to make Veg Frankie. Everyone likes Veg Frankie very much from young to old.

In making Veg Frankie, Veg Frankie is made from some vegetables and pulses. If you make Veg Frankie in this way, everyone will like it very much.

Ingredients to make Veg Frankie:

  • 1 tomato
  • 1 capsicum
  • Paneer – 200 grams
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • green peas 1 cup
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • cumin half teaspoon
  • asafoetida 1 pinch
  • half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 to 2 green chilies
  • a small piece of ginger
  • 1 cup green coriander
  • Half a teaspoon of red chili powder
  • salt to taste

To prepare the flour :

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Maida 1 cup
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Desi Ghee 2 to 3 tbsp

Method to make Veg Frankie:

Veg Frankie: First of all, take wheat flour and all-purpose flour in a big utensil, add salt and oil, and mix. With the help of lukewarm water, add water little by little and knead a soft dough. Cover the dough and keep it for 20 minutes, the dough will puff up and set, till the dough is ready, prepare the stuffing.

And now finely chop the tomatoes and finely chop the capsicum, cut the paneer into small pieces, finely chop the cabbage, finely chop the green chilies and grate the ginger.

Heat half the oil in a pan, when the oil is hot, add peas, fry for 1-2 minutes until the peas become slightly soft until remain crunchy, and cover and cook for 1 minute, take out the fried peas in a bowl.

Put cabbage and capsicum in the remaining oil and stir for 1-2 minutes, after softening slightly, they should remain crunchy, fry and take them out.

Pour the remaining oil into the pan, when heated add cumin and asafoetida, add turmeric powder and coriander powder, add chopped tomatoes, green chilies and ginger, and red chilies, stir with a spoon until the tomatoes are mashed, cooked well. Take.

Add paneer, salt, and fried vegetables and cook till they mix well, add green coriander and mix. The stuffing is ready. make bread

Keep the griddle on the gas and heat it. Break a little dough equal to small guava from the dough, flatten it into a round shape, and give it the shape of a peda.

Wrap the wheat flour in dry flour and roll it into a thin round of 8-10 inches in diameter by placing it on a rolling board, put the rolled roti on a hot griddle.

Turn the roti when it gets lightly roasted, and when a light spot appears on the other surface, lift the roti from the griddle and roast it on direct gas until a light brown spot appears.

Apply ghee on roti and keep it on napkin paper or foil paper spread on a plate. Bake and prepare the second roti or as many rotis as you want to make.

To make Frankie, place roti or parantha on a plate, whatever sauce you like, spread it on the roti and spread it all around, and now put 2-3 spoons of stuffing, put the roti on its side first. Fold while covering, now by folding from both sides, cover the stuffing completely.

Wrap half of the portion with a file and keep it on a plate, you can give hot rolls to children by folding them in the same way and keeping them on a plate.
