Vada Masala Recipe

Vada pav: Vada pav is very easy to make. Vada is made from potatoes and gram flour. It is very much liked by children to elders. It is easily available anywhere. You can also eat it with fried green chilies green chutney or tamarind chutney. You can eat it in the morning or evening and it is very easy to make.

Ingredients to make Vada Masala:

  • 2/3 potato
  • Green chili 3 to 4
  • Green coriander one cup
  • mustard half teaspoon
  • Curry leaves 5 /6
  • turmeric powder half teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • small piece ginger
  • Lessons 5 to 7

Ingredients for making gram flour stuffing:

  • 3/4 cup gram flour
  • turmeric powder half teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • baking soda
  • oil for frying

Method to make Vada Masala:

vada pav: First put potatoes in the cooker and cover the cooker with 2 glasses of water. And put it on the gas and let the cooker whistle for 3 to 4 times. After the whistle of the cooker, let the cooker cool down.

After the cooker cools down, take out the potatoes from the cooker. Peel the potatoes take them out in a plate and cut the potatoes into small pieces, don’t make them too big.

Grind green chilies, ginger, and garlic in a mixer jar and grind them very finely. Now put a pan on the gas and put oil in the pan, let the oil heat up. After the oil is hot, put mustard in the oil and let the mustard crackle. Now put curry leaves in the oil and let it crackle.

Now put green chili, ginger, and garlic paste in the oil and fry it for 2 minutes, After that add turmeric powder, small pieces of potato, and salt as per taste, and add green coriander. Mix it well and let the potato masala cool down Let it cool down, make small balls out of it, and press it lightly.

To make gram flour stuffing:

vada pav: Sieve the gram flour in a vessel, and add salt, turmeric powder, and baking soda to it as per taste. And add water little by little and mix it, there should be no lumps in it. The stuffing of gram flour should be very thin and thick. Shouldn’t be there should be medium.

Now put a pan on the gas. And put oil in the pan for frying, the oil will be hot. After that, we will dip the vada in gram flour, The vada should be completely submerged and put in hot oil and fry till it becomes golden, we will fry all the other vada in the same way.

And our delicious vada pav is ready, you can eat it with green chili or green chutney.
