- 1/2 tsp Kasturi Methi
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 3 to 4 crushed black pepper
- half a teaspoon of cumin powder
- 2 cups curd
- 1 to 2 coals
How to make Chicken Tandoori:
Tandoori chicken: First of all, wash the chicken thoroughly with water 3 to 4 times, and after washing put the chicken in a utensil. Cut the top of the chicken with a knife, but keep in mind that the chicken should not be cut into small pieces, only on top of the chicken. Make a line with a light knife.
To marinate the chicken, first put the curd in a cloth and remove all the water from the curd, keep in mind that while making chicken tandoori, curd should not be marinated without removing the water, otherwise, both spices and curd will not be applied on the chicken. And chicken tandoori will not be good to eat.
Now put the chicken in a vessel, now add green chilies, green coriander, green mint, garlic bud, and a small piece of ginger in the mixer jar, grind it and keep in mind that while grinding, do not add much water, just add 1 to 2 teaspoons of water. Hey, if you put too much water, then the paste of chili, coriander, mint, ginger, and garlic will not apply spices and paste on the chicken and that’s why don’t add too much water.
Now put the ground paste on the chicken, now add all the spices ie a little oil, turmeric powder, a little tandoori red color, lemon juice, cumin powder, celery powder, gram flour, Kashmiri red chili powder, chaat masala, finely chopped kasturi fenugreek, garam masala. Add salt and curd as per taste and apply it to the chicken, mix all the spices with your hands and apply it to the chicken.
After applying all the spices, keep the chicken covered for 2 hours to marinate.
After 2 hours, remove the cover from the marinated chicken, now turn on the gas and put the coal on the gas, and as soon as the coal starts turning red, take out the coal in a bowl and now keep the bowl on the marinated chicken. Now you will put oil or butter on the coal and cover it, as soon as you put oil on the coal, cover it and keep it for 5 minutes.
Now put a griddle or pan on the gas and put oil and let the oil heat up, as soon as the oil becomes hot, put the marinated chicken in the oil and cover the lid on the chicken and let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes and keep the gas on medium. Keep it aside and cook for 20 to 25 minutes from both sides.
After the chicken is cooked, take it out on a plate and put a grate on the gas put the cooked chicken in the grate and roast the chicken by applying a little butter on all sides and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes or until it turns slightly golden If you do not have a griddle, then you can fry the chicken by holding the chicken with tongs.
