Ingredients for making suji /Rava Laddu:

  • 4 spoons desi ghee
  • 2 cups suji /rava

  • one cup of powdered sugar
  • Half teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Milk 3 tablespoons
  • Raisins 4 to 5

Method to make suji /Rava Laddu:

Suji Ke Laddu: First of all, filter the suji and take it out on a plate now place a pan on the gas add ghee in the pan, and let the ghee melt. After the ghee melts, add the filtered rava/suji.

Now after adding suji, mix the suji well and keep stirring the suji again and again with the help of a spoon keep the gas on medium and keep stirring the suji, otherwise, the suji/rava may burn.

Now you have to fry the suji till it turns light golden or till it turns light red. Do not make the suji too red. Just fry the suji till it turns light red.

And now after the suji turns slightly red, add almonds in suji in 4 to 5 pieces, cashew nuts in 4 to 5 pieces and add in semolina, pistachios in 4 to 5 pieces and add in suji and add 2 spoons of grated coconut, add raisins in 4 to 5 pieces.

And now mix well and add powdered sugar and mix well. After mixing, add 3 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of cream and mix well.

Now add half a teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix. Now the suji mixture has become soft after adding milk. Now turn off the gas and let the suji mixture cool down a bit. Keep in mind that if the suji mixture cools too much then it will make laddus. No, let it cool down a bit.
