Ingredients for making kaju curry:
- 150 grams Kaju
- 2 onions
- 1 tomato
- 4 green chilies
- 10 garlic cloves
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 cardamom
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 dry red chilies
- 1 small piece of cinnamon
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp oil
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 small cube of butter
Method for making kaju curry:
Boil for 5 minutes in hot water with 10-12 Kaju, wash them with cold water, and grind them in a mixer to make a paste. Do not use the water in which it was boiled. Chop ginger, green chilies, and garlic.
Heat one spoon of oil in a pan, now add cumin, dry, red chili, cinnamon, bay leaf, and crackle, now add finely chopped onion, add green chili, and fry for 1 minute, now add ginger, garlic, and fry, now add chopped tomato and fry well.
Add one cup of water, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Now add salt and all other spices, mix well, add some water, and cook for some time. Now add kaju and onion paste and cook for 1 minute till the oil separates well.
Lightly brown the kaju in one teaspoon of ghee, now put the kaju in the prepared gravy and cook for 1 minute. Switch off the gas and add butter and keep it covered for 1 minute.
