Idli Sambar Recipe

Idli sambar: Idli, sambar, and coconut chutney are very tasty to eat and it is also very easy to make. It is eaten in the morning for breakfast. Idli sambar and coconut chutney are liked by children and adults alike. Idli sambar and coconut chutney are prepared in less time.

Idli Sambar

Idli Ingredients :

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 cup urad dal
  • ½ cup poha
  • half teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • oil
  • salt to taste

Idli preparation method:

Idli: First, wash the rice and urad dal thoroughly.

After washing, put water in lentils and rice and keep it for 6 hours wash Poha and fenugreek seeds 2 to 3 times in another utensil and soak in one cup of water for 4 to 5 hours.

After 6 hours, drain the water and grind the pulses, rice, Poha, and fenugreek in a mixer jar until it becomes a fine paste add water little by little and grind it until it becomes fine, do not add too much water while grinding.

After grinding the idli will not puff up, then put it in a big container or a big pot and add salt as per taste.

After grinding, keep it like this for 3/4 hours.

Now apply oil in the idli pot and put dal and rice flour in the idli pot, one spoonful of idli flour in the idli pot, and cover the pot.

Now keep it on the gas for 10 / 15 minutes

And our fluffy idli is ready, take out the idli on a plate.

Idli Sambar

Ingredients to make Sambar:

  • Tur Dal 1 cup
  • Ghia 1 cup
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • red chili powder half teaspoon
  • Sambar masala 1 tbsp
  • turmeric powder
  • tamarind water
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
  • mustard half teaspoon
  • cumin half teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 6 /7
  • Bay leaf 3 to 4
  • green coriander
  • green mint

Sambar preparation method:

Sambar: Now take the cooker and put the washed tur dal in the cooker cut the onion and tomato into the cooker and put it in the cooker peel the ghee and cut it into small pieces and put it in the cooker.

Now half Add a teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Now put dead galls water in the cooker and close the cooker.

And put the cooker on the gas and let it cook till the cooker whistles for 5 whistles.

After cooking, let the cooker cool down and then heat oil in a pan and add mustard, cumin, bay leaf, and curry leaves after it crackles, add ginger garlic paste, and after 1 minute, add red chili powder and sambar masala.

Now put all the ingredients of the cooker in it and let it boil and add tamarind water.

After it starts boiling, put green mint and green coriander in it.

And our delicious sambar is ready.

Idli Sambar

Ingredients for Coconut Chutney:

  • Coconut
  • peppermint addresses
  • mustard half teaspoon
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Green chili 2 curry leaves 7 to 8 leaves
  • Applesauce half cup
  • Dalwa 2 tbsp
  • Lesson 4 to 5 buds

Coconut Chutney Recipe :

Coconut Chutney: Small pieces of coconut, leaves of mint, and 4 to 5 cloves of garlic in the vessel of the mixer

Grind it finely by adding 2 green chilies, half a cup of Segdana, and 2 teaspoons of salt as per taste.

After grinding, heat oil in a vessel and put mustard and curry leaves in it, and let it crackle put the ground ingredients in it and let it boil.

And our delicious coconut chutney is ready.
