Ingredients to make Gulab Jamun:

  • Mawa 2 bowl
  • Maida 1 cup
  • Soda 2 pinches
  • sugar 2 cups
  • oil/ghee for frying
  • Ground cardamom 4 to 5

Method for making Gulab Jamun:

First of all, take 2 bowls of awa on a plate and grate the pumpkin, now add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and add ground cardamom to the Mawa and mix well, now knead it well.

Knead well until the Mawa and all-purpose flour becomes smooth. Now make small balls of the mixture of male and all-purpose flour and make round balls very well.

While making balls, keep in mind that there should not be a single crack in the balls, otherwise, the gulab jamuns will break in the oil while frying, therefore, while making balls, carefully make round balls.

After making balls, now put a pan on the gas and put oil in the pan. And let the oil get hot, after the oil gets hot, slow down the gas completely. Now put the prepared Mawa and maida balls in the oil and fry them till they become golden.

As soon as the balls become golden, then take out the fried balls on a plate.

Method of making sugar syrup:

Now put 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a vessel and cook it for 5 minutes after the sugar dissolves well. Now put ground cardamom in the syrup and cook the syrup well.

Now try taking it in your thumb and finger. The string of sugar syrup should not be a complete one, sugar syrup of half a string is needed for this. Now let it cool down. Now put the fried Gulab Jamun in it and keep the Gulab Jamun syrup for an hour.
