Method to make Kesar Peda

Ingredients for making Kesar Peda:
- a bowl of mawa
- a cup of milk
- 4 to 5 almonds
- 6 to 7 pistachios
- 4 to 5 cardamoms
- half cup powdered sugar
- Saffron
- 2 spoons ghee
Method to make Kesar Peda:
Kesar Peda: First of all, grate the mawa or grind it finely with your hands. After grinding the mawa, take a cup of hot milk and add saffron to the hot milk.
Now place a pan on the gas add one spoon of ghee to the pan and let it heat. After the ghee gets heated, add the mawa crushed with hands or grated mawa.
Now mix the mawa well and keep the gas on medium. Keep stirring the mawa repeatedly with the help of a spoon, otherwise, the mawa may stick to the pan and burn. If the mawa sticks to the pan and burns, then the smell of burning may come from the mawa. That’s why keep stirring the mawa again and again.
And now when the mawa starts melting, add saffron milk and mix well. Now after some time, the mawa will start thickening. Keep in mind that you should neither keep the mawa too thin nor too thick.
And now after the mawa thickens, see if a small ball is formed with your hands or not. If the ball is formed then the mawa for saffron peda has been made. Now turn off the gas and take out the mawa in a plate.
Now take out the mawa on a plate and let it cool for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, grind the cardamom make a powder, and add it to the mawa also add powdered sugar and mix it well.
Now let the mawa mixture cool completely. After the mawa cools down, apply ghee to your hands and knead it. After kneading, make small balls and make round balls with your hands. After making the balls, now knead the mawa mixture with your hands. press and flatten
And now after pressing and flattening the mawa mixture, place the almond or pistachio pieces on the saffron peda and keep it on a plate. Similarly, make the rest of the pedals and place them on the saffron peda with almonds, pistachios, or raisins.
